JOEL Rigging EFCR22 provides an interconnection between the
Fire Curtain and the building fire alarm system. This
will allow the fire alarm to trigger the descent of the
fire curtain in the event of an alarm condition.
When signalled by the fire alarm system the EFCR22
will release the fire line and permit the curtain to
descend via gravity to close off the proscenium opening.
The EFCR22 operates in parallel with the normal
fire curtain release stations and fusible links to provide
complete protection.
Unit is complete with battery backup, allowing operation
during a power failure.
The EFCR22 is resettable, operating in place of the
industry standard single use ETL devices.
