TENSION WIRE GRID / WIRE WAY GRID
A tension grid is used to create a working surface above an open area, designed to provide access
to equipment without the risks associated with working at heights.
The gird surface permits free movement of workers, while eliminating all falling hazards.
In theatrical settings, this permits flexible lighting and audio installations that would normally be
extremely difficult with traditional catwalk systems. The woven surface is effectively transparent to
lighting and audio.
In commercial settings, these systems provide access above mall atriums, foyers, casinos without
having to use machinery or interrupt activities below.
