A LANDMARK HALL REVITALIZED

Massey Hall is a recognized National Historic Site and a legendary performance venue in the Canadian entertainment scene. The venue needed to be modernized and the stage and backstage areas of the Allan Slaight Auditorium needed to be expanded. The Corporation of Massey Hall and Roy Thomson Hall that operates both venues embarked on a major renovation project of Canada’s first concert hall in the entire country.

In addition to the renovation and technical update of Massey Hall, a new seven storey tower was added to the site. The Allied Music Centre will feature a 4th floor club and a 6th floor theatre.
